Grammar School of J. K. T. (GJKT) offers a four-year general education (code: 79-41-K/41).


The school´s education system is built on three pillars:


Students learn how to find and internalize information, how to communicate it, and how to use it in practice.


The school offers basic subjects (like Math,Czech, etc.), five foreign languages, 20-30 optional subjects, and the possibility of studying some of the subjects in English.


The profile subjects are Czech Language and Literature, Math and English Language. Students are given an increased number of lessons per week to develop competencies in other subjects.


Selected subjects can be studied in English (ICT in the 1st and 2nd grades and some optional subjects in the 3rd and 4th grades).


Each of the school educational fields offers a project seminar in the 3rd and 4th grades which develops skills for application in practice.


In its arts curriculum, the school emphasizes the links between classical art and music education, and cultural knowledge in a wider context (including architecture, design, mixed musical genres, modern art, etc.)


Students choose German, French, Russian or Spanish as a second foreign language.


Besides requiring state maturita exam, the school encourages students to achieve ECDL certification in ICT, certifications B1 and B2 in foreign languages as well as other certifications.
